Citizen Eco-Drive Perpetual Calendar Watch (BL1210-50E)

A new perpetual calendar gent's watch from Citizen.

Eco-Drive watches are powered by light and this model will never need a battery change helping maintain the integrity of the moisture seals and maintaining the water resistance. This watch has a power save function when the charge is getting low. This watch will run for 120 days from fully charged to fully discharged without seeing any light. With the power save function on it will keep accurate time for 5 years without needing recharging. Of course, all it needs to recharge is light. The low charge warning indicates if the power reserve is running low while continuing to keep accurate time. If the watch is not recharged it will run for 2 more days in this state. The construction of this watch is a stainless steel case and bracelet with a hardened bezel. The black dial has luminous hands and batons with a date window and an orange seconds hand. The date window and the crown also have orange accents. The glass is a mineral crystal. The case has a screw back which helps maintain the 200m water resistance which means that this watch will withstand submersion in water when swimming including skin diving. The perpetual calendar is through 2100.
